Description

Mid-twenties local musician with a primary goal of forming a rock trio/band/collective and playing local/regional live shows; and a secondary goal of making acquaintances in the local music scene. I'm looking for all kinds of instrumentalists who work in rock-and-adjacent genres: those who play  • guitar, bass, drums  • organ, synth, omnichord  • dobro, baritone, mandolin and many more that I haven't listed. Lap steel guitar is my instrument of choice coming on four years, and I am also competent on standard guitar. Happy to work with a wide range of skill levels, so long as you know where you're at. I've been playing live shows for over two years, but you don't have to have played a show at all before. I want to make new music — so I prefer playing co-written material and improvising to standards rather than playing tributes and covers. This means you should at least know enough music theory to be, as they say, "dangerous". Rather than attempting to list my influences exhaustively, here are some albums I've recently listened to. What are some of yours?  • El Rayo-X - David Lindley  • Forever Changes - Love  • Freedom of Choice - DEVO
