Hello - Does anyone know how I can get this side table to re-match the stain of the coffee table? I bought them secondhand and they originally matched perfectly. I ended up sanding the side table to get it smoother, but now I’m at a loss on how to re-match them. After sanding some I conditioned the side table and tried to use a walnut oil stain on the front part, but it’s so much brighter and more red than the coffee table. Was thinking of doing some sort of vinegar stain and/or a gel stain of a more brown tone? I overall want the same brown weathered look of the coffee table again. Any advice would be much appreciated! Or any woodworkers that think they would be able to do it themselves please send your website and/or pictures & pricing!
