Description

Statistics show that it takes an average of SEVEN (7) attempts for a survivor to leave their abuser successfully. Many times, having dependent children can easily double that statistical fact. There are SIX (6) main barriers that make the exodus out of an abusive relationship nearly impossible. Those barriers are: 1) housing; 2) mental and physical health; 3) employment and reliable transportation; 4) childcare; 5) legal aid; and one-on-one help 6) navigating the social systems in place for assistance. If you are passionate about impacting the generations to come, please come meet and mingle and see where you can help. The successful transition back into society as FREE and capable of self love individuals is one of the most important transitions when leaving an abusive relationship and effectively breaking the cycle of abuse together.
