9 - 12 pm: Painting with Milk & Paper Marbling: Visualization of the interaction between soap and fat/lipids as a spectacular eruption of colors. Then we will use paint to create marvelous designs that can be captured on paper (Paper Marbling). Age: ≥ 7 Description: How the soap is made? Which part of the soap molecule interacts with fat/ lipids?Make spectacular paintingsCreate designs with paint and capture the design on paper (Marbling).1 - 4 pm: 3D design & Print - Lithophane!Age: ≥ 7Learn how to 3D-design basic shapes/objects and how to convert any picture into lithophane and 3D print it. A lithophane is an artwork or a picture 3D printed with thin plastic that can be seen clearly only when backlit with a light source. You can 3D print your design or lithophane at the Rockville Science Center.
