Amidst a season of societal heaviness, confusion, and constraint, the husband-wife duo of Jacob and Jasmine Mayeda emerged out of nowhere (SoCal, actually) in the back-half of 2020 with a series of shimmery, soulful, power-pop tunes that delivered an essential dosage of levity and bliss to weary souls worldwide. "Future, disco, pop" is how they describe the sound that they just happened upon one day in the studio. "This project just kinda appeared," says Jasmine "it's the project that we didn't know we wanted and needed."
