Join Rays Of Hope as we host an evening of elegance, dancing and fun. Sit back and laugh with our guest comedian and try your luck with our raffles, door prizes and more. This is an affair for adults 18 and older. Rays Of Hope is a grassroots non-profit volunteer-based organization for youth ages 8-18, focused on developing future leaders through community service and advocacy. When Rays Of Hope began its mission was to engage youth in community service projects that inspire and empower them to serve in ways that will promote leadership. We have grown to do so much more. Our organization fosters a positive environment for youth and strives to service marginalized communities with projects such as: advocacy focused on food insecurity within schools, feeding and clothing the homeless, hosting voter registration drives, school supply/book bag drives, beach and park clean-ups, creating winter gear bags for 150 displaced families over the winter months and promoting literacy by creating and maintaining 2 Little Free Libraries in low income areas, just to name a few. Rays Of Hope youth have stood with legislators, educators, and community leaders to champion many causes that impact the work of advancing equality, equity, social justice, and economic opportunity for all. Our vision is to create service and leadership development opportunities for youth thereby empowering them to be caring, productive and engaged members of the community. This has been accomplished through their participation in planning outreach projects as well as participating in learning opportunities that educate them on the basics of public speaking, public service and organizational development.
