The Red Dot Mrkt is powered by Gallery 90220, which has been seen in LA Times and Gensler. Gallery founder David Colbert, who also founded Compton Art Walk, has set his sights on creating a marketplace, a community and a creative hub in a place close to his heart. A place that is rich with history, South Central L.A. Historical Central Ave formerly known as Little Harlem during the Harlem Renaissance. Our goal is to create a resurgence of creative and progressive energy by curating a space for art, music, fashion and food. The Red Dot Mrkt (Historical Central Ave) will be South Central’s hub for creatives, consumers and decision makers. The Red Dot Mrkt will be held at Sola Beehive, a business campus and outdoor venue conveniently located ten minutes south of downtown.
