Hello- I’m looking to hire a mechanic to help me rebuild my 671 Detroit Diesel. Specifically, I need help with: -installing main bearings shells -assembling new pistons -Installing pistons + liners -Rack adjustments etc. etc. While this is in an in-frame rebuild, if you don’t feel like contorting yourself in my boat’s engine room, you can direct me and I’ll access the cramped space. There’s also mirrors for the journal bearings, etc. If interested, please give your hourly rate as well as your brief experience on diesel rebuilds.
