Intro to Mushrooming Class & Hike

For ages 12 and up. Get the same fun 1hr interactive lecture I give at the Museum of Natural History followed by a Mushrooming Hike! Learn safety guidelines, identification techniques and what types of mushrooms beginners/novices should start with, followed by a trip into the woods to identify some mushrooms in the wild! Bring a basket or a bag (cloth or paper, not plastic) good walking footwear as it is hilly and rocky, insect repellant in case of ticks and mosquitos. Sign the safety release form at check-in to attend the hike. Class/lecture is at Legacy Church, then we will get in our cars and drive to Waters Farm (1 mile away).  My wild-foraged Mushroom Tincture, Wild Herbal Salve for Poison Ivy and Eczema, Wildflower Jelly, natural lotions and other wild-crafted will be available for purchase after the lecture.
