Description

Cost $66.00 (all supplies included) Dreamcatchers, originally crafted women of the Ojibwe tribe and later adopted by many Indigenous tribes, are protective talismans that are used to protect people from nightmares and bad dreams. The Ojibwe women started weaving and hanging these magical webs for their infants to catch any bad dreams or other harm that might be present. Indigenous cultures believe that both good and bad dreams fill the air at night and the dreamcatcher acts like a spider's web by trapping the bad dreams or visions while allowing the good ones to filter through. More recently, dream catchers have been used as a shared symbol of hope and healing and generate positivity. Participants will enjoy a guided meditation and will make their own light up dreamcatchers during this fun event.
