Description

I have a two year old Australian Shepard/Husky mix named Pickles. She is a wonderful dog but is very difficult and stubborn. I am looking for someone who has had dogs before and can handle this type of breed. You MUST have land, she is mostly an outdoor dog and really needs to run hard for most of the day to chill out. If she doesn't run she will become destructive. = This is very hard for me and it has taken me two years to reach this point. I would love to stay in touch with whoever takes her so I can know she is safe and happy - I would also be able to dogsit from time to time if needed. I have grown very attached to her so saying goodbye feels impossible but my mental health is really struggling and she deserves better. Here are some things to consider - She can jump/climb a 6 foot + fence - She is obsessed with coyotes. This is our biggest struggle as they live on our land. When she sees one she loses her mind for about an hour (whining, screaming, very loud barking) It's very hard to calm her down and it normally happens early in the morning and all day. - Doesn't listen when called - only at the dog park does she have recall - Will chase cats (doesn't hurt them) The good things about pickles: She is the cutest dog I have ever seen Good with all dogs big and small She is great with kids and people She is very smart (I taught her shake in one day) She will outrun all the dogs at the dog park (it's really cool to watch - so fast!) Reach out if: If you have a farm or lots of land (this is the most important part) Have experience working with difficult dogs
