House Band Keyboard Player wanted at Pipers Lounge located in Pompano Beach Tuesday nights 8-12. We are currently short a keyboard player and are opening the night as a power trio. Our keyboard player just moved back to New York. We are all accomplished musicians with 45 + years of stage time. We have about 30 songs ranging from Joe Bannamosa to Neil Young, intending to add a song or two each week at rehearsal at a local studio. We'll obviously give you some time to learn our song lineup. We open with a planned set list followed by an open mic night. Sometimes we get do a second set. WE'D PREFER SOMEONE WHO ALREADY KNOWS A LIFETIME OF SONGS AND HAS THE ABILITY TO FILL IN CHORDS AND SOLO INTUITIVELY WHERE NEEDED. IT'S A JAM. But the players who come through the doors for open mic night use our band for backup as needed and sometimes use just one, two or three of us as the night unfolds. There are also bands that show up. We never know what we're gonna play or what we're gonna get during the open mic sessions. Every week is unique but we do have regulars. This is a lot of fun for the right guy. We're mostly retired and love doing this because we get to play live every week and near all the equipment and backline are already there at the club.
