Description
The mama cat of these kittens is a light beige orange tabby who I was planning on getting fixed her last litter of one kitten, but she got knocked up 3 weeks after having him. I did spot her with a black and white cat on march 16, the result was 5 orange tabby and 3 jet black tortoiseshell kittens born 6 weeks ago These kittens are all very friendly and playful, still learning biting makes me say OWWW :) They will hop in your lap while ur sitting down, like their back scratchings, and purr pretty loud. The runts have been eating solid food since just before they were 4 weeks, and the rest a week later. They are also using a litter box. They spent their first 3 weeks inside, primarily my bedroom. I brought them out to the shop/2 car garage, although when the temperature and heat index hit the 100's I brought them down to the basement for a few days. Now they are back in the garage and also have started hanging out in the lawn with their mama and big sis from 2 litters ago. Big sis is a diluted tortoiseshell, who is the coolest cat I've ever had with one of a kind markings. She was a big help in helping with their cleaning when they were real young, and now gets to be a kitten again and play with the crew :) The larger torties of this litter also have neat markings which look great with their jet black fur. The runt is primarily black with some white and orange but I think she has the munchkin gene. The tabbies are nice and orangey, with a few having a little white as well. Nice assortment and two look pretty identical. Pics when it is daylight. If someone wants to rehome a pair of littermates they could be picked up as soon as next weekend especially if I can get them vet checked and vacs. Otherwise I would like them to spend at least 8 weeks with their mama and siblings, and since it's a large litter the sooner I get word out the better. Ideally I'd love to give them 10-12 weeks, but in this case they are pretty advanced for their age as they seem to learn from each other. Rehoming fee which will be dependent on any travel or vet services. I am willing to travel between Madison and Richland Center or Baraboo possibly Dodgeville too, to help make sure they get good homes, and make sure they have a good car ride :)
