Guitar player looking for band to join or musicians to start up a band in the West Valley (Buckeye, Surprise, Waddell, Goodyear, Avondale, etc.). I've been playing 38 years. Pro gear, no diva ego/attitude, work well with other guitarists, financially secure with career so music is a passion not an occupation for me. I grew up learning guitar in the early-mid-80's so influenced by all of the MTV-era stuff. Not limiting myself to any particular genre but most comfortable playing 70's Classic Rock thru 80's and early 90's Rock/Hard Rock. I'm also very solid with singing harmony vocals. Spent 2 years at the Berklee College of Music in the early 90's where I studied Jazz guitar and music theory. I consider myself an intellectual guitar player understanding where to play and where not to play. Vocally I'm a solid tenor but can get into an alto range with my head voice/falsetto, very good with harmonizing but just don't feel I've got that lead singer voice!
