Long shot here. But any Christians out there looking to write/play and eventually record alternative style music. I have several songs written completely (lyrically) and more partially. The last few months I've been finally starting to put music to them. I'm by no means an established player and am very much learning as I go. I actually prefer you be the same. It would be cool to grow musically with someone. Plus, if you're really good, I'll just slow you down. I must stress, if you're wanting to play worship music, then this isn't for you. I'm definitely looking for someone who wants to play in the 90s/2000s alternative style (ex. Nirvana, Foo fighters, white stripes). If this sounds like something you might be interested in, email me.
