First happy 4th i cannot believe we r on here my sister and i came to albany from new baltimore on tuesday we were hired to do a deck job. So we required 1/2 upfront and the rest upon finishing this couple told us all about how they had a contractor doing the job n they were promised itd b done by 6/1, they have family and friends coming in for a 4th of july celebration. We agreed to a little higher of a price due too the timing.. well 1st payment cleared we finished up around 5pm yesterday went to bank and check was no good. Now we r not getting responded too. We do not want to just show up at thier home again after already leaving a note last night.. we r pretty much stranded here. The first payment covered materials n ect... we r now stuck in albany with our tools and have no way to rent the uhaul to get back home now!!! If there is anyone out there that could help us PLEASE??!! We could repay it by end of july this is degrading!! But please message us if u can help
