Shed Construction and Shed Delivery Position

We are seeking an individual who handles two job responsibilities -- 1-2 days per week working in our shop constructing sheds, and the remaining 2-3 days per week in our truck delivering sheds to customers and other shed retailers. Our company is High Point Buildings (d/b/a Florida Shed Outlet), and we are an Orlando, FL based builder and seller of wooden backyard sheds. We are looking for candidates that have great attitudes and are looking to work hard! Approximately 1-2 days per week, the candidate will work in our production facility cutting wood, framing, painting and performing other duties related to shed construction. The other 2-3 days per week, the candidate will drive our Freightliner truck & 50' shed trailer delivering sheds to customers. You will drive the truck to the customers home and bring the shed into their yard with our equipment. The delivery portion requires the candidate be in excellent physical shape, and be willing to work outside in hot weather. Our truck requires the candidate to have a Class A CDL. For those that do not already have a CDL, we will provide training so that you can take and pass the CDL test. Applicant must possess clean driving record and consistently pass USDOT drug testing. High school or college degree are NOT required, but a strong work ethic is. The ideal candidate will be able to handle very high levels of physical activity, understand basic carpentry skills, have a positive attitude, be punctual & trustworthy and be prepared to WORK HARD! This person will work 8 hours per day, but OT hours are available. Delivery days may be up to 14 hours per day, but the employee will be home every night! Pay is $22 per hour, and every hour in the truck above eight hours will pay $30 per hour. So, if you work a 14 hour day on a delivery day, the first eight hours pay $22/hour and the remaining six hours pay $30/hour.
