Job duties and responsibilities cover most aspect of this position. Proficiency in all of them is not required; a good mechanical aptitude and the willingness to learn is important and required: • Complete work order assigned to them in a timely manner based on priority identified by manager. • Make ready / turning apartment unit in between tenant occupancy • Provide routine updates to management (on demand) • Maintaining grounds of properties assigned • Basic knowledge of plumbing (repair installation of faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, and toilets. Also, clearing of stopped drain lines and other plumbing issues) • Basic knowledge of electrical (repair/replacement of outlet, switches and light fixture, replacement blown bulbs, test fire alarms, and minor electrical repair) • Basic knowledge of ceiling and wall maintenance (painting, drywall patching and etc.) • Must have working knowledge of carpentry skills • Basic knowledge of appliance repair: Basic troubleshooting, minor repair and maintenance of ranges, refrigerators and laundry machine. • Must provide their own basic tools needed to perform work. • Ground maintenance snow removal, landscaping, trash clean up, and tree pruning. • Record-keeping: Daily timesheet records as well as inventory and material use. • Physical ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs, and to perform other physical work needed. The ability climb an eight plus foot ladder. Skilled using power tools. • Rotational, on call emergency maintenance availability required. • Anything else that the owner and/or manager feel falls into the maintenance position job description. Qualifications: • Must past a background check • Must have a High school diploma or equivalent • Must have tools needed to properly complete assignments • Must have a reliable vehicle (good driving record with insurance) • Must live in an area local to Green Bay • Have an active cell phone • Bilingual (not required, but a plus) • Be computer literate INTERESTED PERSONS CAN RESPOND TO THIS AD AND ATTACH RESUME
