Join the Remake Seattle Community for drinks and discussion on how to curate a small wardrobe that makes a BIG impact. Remake is a global non-profit organization with a mission to get women in the clothing industry paid fairly. We are kicking off its No New Clothes Pledge, which is an annual campaign to encourage reflection on consumption. Taking the No New Clothes Pledge can look different for everyone such as swapping clothes with friends, shopping secondhand, supporting small sustainable brands, or buying nothing at all. In our happy hour this month, we will chat with The Cura Co. founder, Kiko, about how we can style old clothes with new clothes in order to cherish what is already in our closet and support small businesses. Additional guest speakers include the Community Organizers - JeLisa founder of The Stylist Way and Emily founder of The Honest Consumer. While this is a free event we are encouraging a donation to Remake’s #SpringIntoAction fundraiser!
