Job Responsibility & Duties [General Labor] Formal position title. Reports To The [General Labor] will report to [General Manager of the show]. Job Overview General Labor is the core when setting up a dinosaur show. You will learn how to put on a show, put a smile on families faces, bring back what dinosaurs looked like 200 million years ago. You will be joining an organization which will change the future of dinosaur entertainment. As the company grows, you will be growing as well. You will learn how to deal with customers, how to manage other workers when you are promoted, and how to keep on improving & developing in this fast-paced era. Responsibilities and Duties Responsibilities and duties of this job: • Driving the forklift for loading and unloading dinosaurs, toys, carts, and any other thing that needs a forklift • Scanning customer tickets during the show • Setting up the display for toys, accessories, clothing, merchandise, and any other sort of product that can be sold • Selling products that are displayed to customers • Making toy bags for customers • Keeping maintenance for the show’s electricity, dinosaur, speakers, and etc. • Setting up the show and it includes doing the following: Unloading Dinosaurs, placing sandbags, putting the electrical boxes (Includes: Sensors, cables, speakers) to their respective dinosaur, plugging electricity for the entire show, covering dinosaur plates and boxes with tarps, placing cones for traffic circulation • Packing up the show and it includes doing the following: Loading the Dinosaurs, packing Sandbags, packing the electrical boxes, unplugging electricity for the entire show, removing the tarps, removing cones. • Cleaning and keeping things neat in the trailer and in the show • Keeping track on all business functions, for example: ticketing, Inventory, toy bags, and any upcoming tracking that should be done • Developing and improving the show done by the company, should it be within the labors/employee’s skill it shall be done by the labor/employee. For example, if a new booth is opened in addition to the original booth, the employee should be responsible in displaying and setting up the booth. • Following instructions from the supervisor • Anything new that is done in the show, should it be within the employee’s skills shall be done by the employee Qualifications Qualifications needed to fulfill this position: • Highschool diploma • 0-1 years of experience • Driving a forklift • Positive energy, able to work with a team, and committed to work • Must be in good shape and able to move heavy objects Before you apply for the job you need to know that this job is on the Road, we are only El Paso for one week, this job requires travel because we do Dinasour events across all the the states, however we provide housing and transportation with the company travels.
