Rick Cochran grew up in Wellfleet, Cape Cod, Massachusetts where his father was the principal of the local high school. He is the author of two Wellfleet Tales short story memoir collections and three murder mysteries. His Bound Brook murder mystery trilogy is set in a fictional version of Wellfleet in 1952. Rick has contributed articles to Cape Cod Life magazine and the Barnstable Patriot and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Cape Cod Writers Center. He is a retired educator with degrees from Tufts and Northeastern. Rick still lives at the beach, but a different one, Nantasket Beach in Hull, Massachusetts.
