Description

Free with investment of time until you gain his trust. (Scroll to bottom if issue w/“free”.) Rottweiler mix, male, just turned 2, UTD on shots, neutered, microchip, dna/allergy tested-everything one would do for their fur-family member. Rescues more than welcome to take him. I have heart failure and must find him a home, ASAP. I love him immensely but love isn’t enough and he deserves a better home. Please have experience with working/guardian breeds. No kids, no small dogs- at least at first until he had made progress with you. Maybe a mellow cat and for sure friendly/calm large dogs. Indoor dog. If you want him for an emotional support animal, please know that would not make him a service dog or allow him rights to public places. ESA’s only have rights to be in your home. Also, know he will take work and he himself needs an emotional support human. Needs slow transition to get to know you. Prefers a mellow home. No apartments unless they are very. He has stranger danger behavior but that is no fault of his own and would quickly move past this with some TLC and socialization. Please be able to afford $100 on food a month. He has a lot of allergies so that doesn’t have a lot of wiggle room. He is a very lean almost 100 lbs and he will fill out a lot more as he gets older. To the people worried about him being “free”: I could charge money for him but that isn’t going to find him a great home. An investment of time is needed FOR HIS BENEFIT. No one trying to get free dogs for nefarious reasons is going to waste their time meeting with him on a regular basis to walk for an indefinite amount of time to win his trust and heart. People, your heart is in the right place but time has more value to my pup than $50 to satisfy a small fee.
