The recent overturn of Roe V. Wade has truly shocked the nation. Women, LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and other marginalized individuals are angry, devastated, and scared for their safety, privacy, and health due to the recent decisions and future initiatives of SCOTUS and conservative politicians. What we need at a time like this is community engagement, mutual empowerment, and the opportunity to come together and express our voices. Historically, art has been used to promote change and to help people express their feelings and opinions throughout politically charged and social justice oriented movements.
We invite participants to channel the energy of this movement into the creation of social justice art:
