New York Times bestselling author and NAACP Image Award winner, Omar Tyree, hosts "The Charleston Flow" for a night of live poetry, hip hop and soul music at the North Charleston, South Carolina, Purple Buffalo from 8 - 11 PM on July 6, 2022, to be filmed for the Hot Lava YouTube channel with the goal of Live Streaming in the near future. The event will feature live poetry, hip hop, soul music and comedy performances from fresh talent out of Charleston, South Carolina, and the surrounding areas as Tyree continues to transition into his Hot Lava Entertainment brand of producing music, film, television, and live performance events ala Russell Simmons & Def Jam. All new events will benefit Tyree's Urban Literacy Project (ULP), Howard University Alums, Walter "Rap" Pearson's of College Bound Parenting (CBP) and Amos Drummond of Tenable Music Urban (TMU) for music Distribution & Publishing.
