Stories in Power: Health Forward Foundation is partnering with Ad Astra Community Innovations Group to examine how communities have experienced power – or the lack of power – in decisions that affect their lives. Listening Circles support a guided conversation to gather stories from those in organizations who work directly with community members who may have different experiences with power in the community. Through the listening circles, organizational representatives will be asked to reflect on how, when, or why community power may (or may not) be experienced by those they serve. The purpose of the listening circle is to share stories that help us better understand how power in communities may be experienced, as well as what may be barriers.Co-Hosted with Made Men www.https://www.made-men.org/$$$: You will receive a $25 participation stipend for your time and attendance at the session. You may also receive a $10 referral stipend (per person who attends) if you refer others who participate in this event.
