We would like to invite you and any volunteers who serve our Street Friends to attend this timely and important workshop. Our goal is to grow in our love and devoted service to all around us.
This workshop is one of the most effective training tools HOPE worldwide offers that teaches the biblical groundwork for serving and that “poverty” takes on many different forms. We discuss scriptural ideas related to “community” and how that relates to our focus and efforts as followers of Jesus. We also explore practical ideas about engaging with local neighbors who are materially poor, or in need, in ways that strengthen community and transform us all.
