Description

• The project is replacing two existing 20’ long 6” x 6” timber walls with landscape block retaining walls. • The new walls will be 20’ long by 33” high & 39” high upon completion. • Owner to supply materials and Dumpster. • Contractor to supply labor and equipment (including a plate compactor and a concrete block saw, both of which contractor can rent locally if necessary). • Significant excavation is required using picks and shovels. • The site is not accessible with a skid steer or mini excavator. Materials must be moved manually by bucket and wheelbarrow. • Contractor must provide proof of liability insurance or sign a waiver of liability provided by the owner. • Requirements: 1) Contractor must provide a minimum of 6 laborers for the excavation phase. 2) Contractor must have proven experience building landscape block retaining walls. • If you are interested in this project, please provide information on landscape wall projects you have completed and an overview of how you would construct a landscape block wall.
