Cha-Cha was removed from a toxic home environment a month ago. She now has all shots and a complete vet check. At first she would not leave her new kennel. Now, she has been in/out that kennel and walking around my apartment. I can pick her up and give her cuddles and whisper what a pretty girl she is. She is very timid still but she can bark LOUDLY whenever anyone knocks on the door. She is 9-10 lbs, spayed, eating well. She is pee pad trained and will need some training to let you know to take her out. I take her out am/pm and a few times throughout the day. My opinion is it would be better for her to live with a retired couple or single. I leave the kennel door open all the time, even if I will be gone a few hours. She generally sleeps then.
