So this is a repost, I am sorry to all of those who have reached out about the original post. I am much more serious about this now. UPDATE: in original post’s description (which is down below) I mention Minnie having some sort of health issue.. well she did not see a vet for that because shortly after the post was made as well as several ppl told me Some ball pythons tend to act this way occasionally, and it’s nothing to worry about even if it seems as concerning as it did. She has eatin several times since the original post 3 months ago, yet still tends to only want to hangout in her hide. She does do very well being handled though, just balls up for a bit and is very shy in comparison to banana. She eventually does come out of her ball and is nice to hangout with, she is not even the slightest bit aggressive and never has been. Neither snake has ever shown any aggression or seemed like a risk of striking. Surprisingly banana is so much friendlier and more social yet I trust Minnie more idk why maybe cause I’ve had her quite a bit longer also she was MY snake and banana was not but I cannot even imagine either one ever harming anybody. Another update is Minnie’s enclosure has a crack across the bottom not long way but the front to the back,I suppose from the heat mat since it’s where that was located. I eventually discovered this during a cleaning and had to remove the old one since it was ruined and I had to clean off all the gross feces mixed wi try the sticky sticker residue from the heat mat and lined the bottom of the tank under the bedding. I rearranged her tank maybe that’s why she started to eat again.. maybe she wasn’t comfortable.. well now I’m thinking this is sorta obvious.. but now a new heat mat is located on other side of tank and her water bowl now sits over that crack it seems sturdy. It’s definitely usable I’m mentioning this because of the drop in enclosure value. I believe I should rehome my very amazing ball pythons.. I love them alot but i just want a better life for them. They just deserve more than to sit in my basement Nd i have small children who i dont trust handling them. they've not gotten enough attention the past 1-2 years cause of being prego then having an infant. (btw if unaware prego/infant need to avoid reptiles until babies around 8 months)and my baby hasnt been outta the newborn/infant salmonella danger age for long. The banana one is of course the yellow one he eats like a champ and seems so perfect for a snake lover who wants to hold their snake all the time hes very social hes often out of his hide seeming as if he wants to be picked up or maybe hes out alot just hunting for food idk hes very friendly though. The othrr one is a Mojave shes not agressive or social.. Neither one has ever bit, Ive had Mojave(minnie) longer shes a bit older shes not doing great idk exactly whats wrong with her, her appetite isn't what it should be and she kinda just hides.. Constantly and does nothing else. Shes older than banana yet im pretty sure hes a good bit larger. She will be takin to the vet soon whether she finds a new home or not its a plan to have that done very soon. Btw minnie is named after minnie mouse because she has little black mickey mouse heads on her side or sides i think both sides. I'm leaning towars getting rid of their enclosures along with them rehoming fee is required it will be more with the enclosures and theres the option or it being less if enclosure is not needed
