Our client has been in business since 2008 and is a beauty product distributor focused on creating sustainable products that are environmentally sound. They are a growing company in a beautiful, brand new warehouse in SE Austin, near the airport. They strive toward a strong company culture based on the well-being of their employees, as well as social and environmental responsibility. They have a safe and clean work environment. Schedules will be published weekly. All shifts are Monday through Friday from 645am to 330pm. All candidates must have the physical skills and ability to work a flexible schedule around frequently changing production demands. All employees are expected to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, a lab coat, hair net, mask, and gloves. MUST HAVE A CLEAR BACKGROUND Responsibilities include: • Following all packaging standards per company protocol • Perform manual operations, related to the filling packaging, and casing of liquid cosmetics and other consumer products in accordance with applicable SOPs and Work Instructions. • Complete assigned work on a production line efficiently and effectively. Such work may include such activities as: **Loading bottles/tubes into fillers. **Applying pumps/caps to bottles/hand packing finished goods of product / packing cases / stacking on pallets **Sorting out defective components or finished products. **Perform visual and/or manual quality checks as required and report discrepancies found to Line Leader. • Lifting up to 25 lbs. • Standing in one place for long periods of time • Working in a fast paced environment • A high level of attention to detail • Good hand/eye coordination Dress Code: Casual, no tears, closed toe shoes plus all PPE described above, provided on site.
