The Souljazz Orchestra is a Canadian musical group based in Ottawa that has toured Canada, the United States and Europe. Their music is a fusion of soul, jazz, funk, Afrobeat and Latin-American styles. Quite simply... I love this sound. I would love to play bass in such an outfit if one was available. I wouldn't want to copy them directly of course. Maybe cover a couple tunes, but develop something of its own with the same vibe. If this is going to happen, it's going to happen in the Philly area! What I bring to the table: Currently based in Norristown 25+ years of experience Excellent vocal capabilities (lead and backup) Experience with multiple genres Pro gear and attitude Live and studio experience (ran studio for 6 years, played on several albums) Music is my full-time thing (audio production, podcasts, performance) 100% of my time is dedicated to creative endeavors.
