My band has decided to experiment with in-ear monitoring. Although we love the idea, we're concerned about not being able to monitor the front-of-house sound while we're playing. This is one of several reasons we are seeking a sound engineer. We are a new band of mostly retired men playing 60's-90's hits. We are doing this mainly for fun, and have no thoughts of fame or fortune. The person we seek must adopt this attitude, as well. We ask that you be 21+ years of age and have transportation. Do you have a good ear for sound, a knack for learning software, and problem-solving skills? These are important sound engineer qualities. I have many years of experience with live and studio sound, and am willing to teach you what I know. In turn, you must commit to helping us by running sounds at gigs about1x/month and at some of our rehearsals until you've learned the ropes.
