Emergency in need of a mobile mechanic 2005 Chevy Avalanche

My 2005 Chevy Avalanche is having some transmission issues. I was on the freeway and the car was making a weird sound everytime I sped up. The speedometer began to decline from 70 to 60. The RPMs started to jump way up without any incline. Just reeving of the engine. The Transmission Hot light came up on the dash. I drove about another 15 mins slowly to a Walmart & put tran fluid and coolant recommended for my specific make. I let it run about ten mins then drove it for another 30 mins. The light went off but it's still doing the same thing. Driving slow not going above 20-30mph rpm's are jumping way up and its just reeving at 20-30mph sometimes it will go up to 40-60mph but will stay and the engine will rev and rpm's jump. It's not overheating the temp Guage is right in the middle. I don't know what's going on. Please can someone come look at it ASAP. My daughter and I are supposed to be driving up with the Truck & camping north Washington for our summer trip. She's been looking so forward to it. I can be reached at
