Hello, At Sacred Geometrix, we create organic and sustainable casual & festival style clothing. We design and manufacture our own garments in house here at 905 6th st. Arcata. We also screen print t-shirts and other garments with our screen printing press. This location is not only our workshop but also a retail storefront as well. We are desiring to hire someone to fill in for our all star seamstress who is moving away in September (sad emoji face). We are looking for someone who has a growth mindset and preferably has sewing experience, however it is not necessarily required. What we require is someone who manages their time well, shows up with a good attitude and is always down to put in the effort and do their best ensuring the job is done right. We have strict quality standards that our customers have grown to love and expect in every cut, every seam, every garment. We are looking for someone to help us continue our company's mission of excellence and uphold the values of integrity, quality, and precision craft. Job Description: A solid seam-smith that knows how to wield the threads! Knowledge of industrial sewing machines is a big plus. Because you will be filling in the position of our current employee who has been with us for 2 years, you will be trained from not only the business owners but also her as she has the deepest understanding of how each garment is sewn and what precise skills are necessary to know in order to fill in this role. She will be leaving in middle of September.
