A boutique personal care home in Marietta, Georgia is searching for an experienced Executive Director to join its management team. Our newly renovated facility offers the best of Southern hospitality combined with a comfortable and secure setting for the elderly. We are searching for someone with a proven track record within the elder care industry. You must have a genuine passion for taking care of seniors! This position will require the Executive Director to manage and run all sales and census development efforts as well. **Please Note: We Encourage Hotel General Managers to Apply for this Role, if looking for a career/industry change!** Position Highlights: • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's programs and activities. • Design a sales plan to maximize occupancy at the facility and ensure company profitability • Assume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing the activities and programs of the facility. • Represent the facility in dealings with outside agencies, including governmental agencies (Georgia Dept. of Health) and third-party payers, or provide an authorized representative of the facility when unable to attend such meetings. • Make routine inspections of the facility to assure that established policies and procedures are being implemented and followed. • Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies. • Maintain an adequate liaison with families and residents. • Maintain a good public relations program that serves the best interest of the facility and community alike. • Ensure that an adequate number of appropriately trained professional and auxiliary personnel are always on duty to meet the needs of the residents. • Staff development to include counsel/discipline as requested or as may become necessary. Key Strengths and Requirements: • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a similar personal care home or assisted living setting • Possesses Certified Assisted Living Administrator licensure or possesses a Georgia Department of Health PCH Administrator License • Has experience in facility census development efforts and a proven background in senior living sales • A degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or a healthcare related degree is preferred, but not required. • A nursing background and licensure is preferred, but not required.
