If Russia is exporting more oil today than they did before the war, which they are, then why is the price of gas so high? Could it be true that the oil companies are ripping us off? Russia is selling more oil to China and India. In turn, China and India are buying less from the Middle East. Which means, that there is more oil in the Middle East for Europe that must be moved by tanker because in theory, the pipelines from Russia to the EU are being shut down. So then, why are the tanker companies doing so poorly? Maybe those pipelines are not being shut down after all, we’re not in on it, our wallet is the punch line, and the oil companies are gouging us?
