Are you a Skilled Laborer wanting to improve your skills and learn new ones? Even if you are entry level or looking to get into a new field, Resource Options is currently seeking team oriented Laborers to join our growing team in the South Plainfield area! This opportunity provides safety and onsite training with PPE equipment provided. The qualified individual will work directly under the supervision of a Laborer performing the functions listed below. Our ideal candidate should be hardworking individual who will show up on time and finish out the job to the best of their ability. Position Requirements (May Include But Not Limited To): • Perform setup and cleanup tasks on the job site including debris removal. • Assist with loading and unloading of delivery materials and equipment. • Demolition & rubbish removal, digging activities, and compacting activities • May operate a variety of hand and power tools. • Follow specific instructions from supervisors and provide labor support when necessary for carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors. • Building or removing scaffolding, temporary structures, equipment and materials. • Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations, as well as company policy and procedures. • Direct traffic if necessary to ensure the safety of work crew. • Keep working area clean and ensure tools, equipment, and materials are stored properly and securely. Position Qualifications: • No experience required but history working on residential and/or commercial job sites preferred • Willing to work and travel in all weather conditions and have reliable transportation. • Experience with exposure to heights, chemicals, dust, dirt, fumes, noise, sludge and moving mechanical parts • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. • Ability to spend long periods of time in awkward positions such as bending, reaching and kneeling. • Ability to work under pressure, collaborate with diverse personalities, and complete assignments according to project timelines. • Ability to work 40 hours a week, and over time if needed. **Pays double on Sunday!**
