Your responsibilities as a Production Associate include being trained on all skill sets in the commercial chair build-process including: cutting, wood/foam, kitting, upholstery and assembly. You must have sound hand-eye coordination and be able to cope with moderate physical effort. All candidates must be able to read an order accurately to follow instructions / line drawings, kit, and assemble. Ideal candidates need to demonstrate the following competencies: time management, critical thinking, quality control, and dependability. Experience is not necessary but the willingness to learn is essential. Physical demands include: ability to stand for long periods of time, walk frequently, lift or move up to 50 lbs, quickly move hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects and be able to read and interpret safety documents, manuals, and instructions. All candidates must feel comfortable in an environment that contains dust, odors, and wearing all required personal protective equipment. Available shifts for this Production Associate role include: Morning ($19 / hour) : Monday-Thursday (Friday OT) 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM Swing ($20 / hour) : Monday-Thursday (Friday OT) 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Please note that overtime is mandatory and all candidates must be able to pass a background check and urinalysis drug test.
