Description

This litter is sooo cute, curious and good-natured! We have 7 small baby bunnies ready for adoption this weekend when they turn six weeks old. What a great time to introduce a new pet during a long holiday weekend so it gets lots of attention at the family gathering. Rabbits make great pets, as they are quiet, small and fine with confinement as long as they get some attention every day. Free-roaming bunnies can be litter trained like a cat, but don't use cat litter in the box. These bunnies are handled often and love attention. They run to us, not away from us. They are fully weened and eating greens, veggies, fruit, timothy hay and organic feed. Mama is a short-hair mini rex and Papa is a small, long-hair blondie. This litter has 1 unusual bunny with multiple shades of brown. The other 6 are mixed shades of blonde and light brown, with both short-hair and long-hair available. Worried about the cost to care for and feed a rabbit? Don't be! Rabbits are one of the cheapest pets you could ever have. If you don't have hay, give them some grass clippings from your yard... or flowers if you're willing. They love rose petals and orchids. (Ask me how I know) If you don't have a lot to spend on feed, supplement it with your leftover vegetable scraps like cucumber peels, watermelon, tops of strawberries or carrots. I currently grow collard greens (very easy to grow in Florida) to ensure they have fresh leafy greens at almost no cost. One small packet of seeds will yield many plants that last for a year or longer. The bunny will also provide your fertilizer! You do not need to compost rabbit manure. I can be applied directly to the soil and will not burn plants. Bunnies do not require expensive, recurring vet visits like a dog. No flea or heartworm treatments needed. ** I cannot guarantee ** the sex at this age, but will try to guess if that matters to you. Located in South Lakeland near Pipkin Rd, which is between the airport and Mulberry. Small rehoming fee of $40 cash preferred, but will also accept Apple Pay. Don't miss out on these adorable cuties! Please text me - I won't see an email. Keywords: Rabbit - Bunny - Bunnies - Lakeland
