Music electronics repair?

I've been bringing my Samson 12 channel rack-mount mixer (and spare) to amp services in Wellington. Tom does a great job, but (1) it's far away and uses a lot of gasoline or UPS ship fees and (2) he is usually backed up, and it takes a long time to get it back. Can anybody recommend a good technician that works on musical electronic gear that is close to here? Thanks, Bob
