The task is to operate a Sun Joe dethatcher in the side yard. It is like running a lawn mower. You press the button and walk slowly as it does the job. You will probably do this a couple of times with each tool, the scarifier and the dethatcher. From your perspective, it will be the same, you just walk behind it. In between these times, you will probably have to rake up dead grass it pulls up. The scarifier will break up the soil for air to get inside and the detatcher will pull up loose, dead grass. Then you will use the broadcast spreader to spread some fertilizer, moisture agent and some other soil amendments on the ground. I would not be surprised if you had to work the rest of the day to do all of this. This is not hard work, but it is work.
