JC Grounds is looking for WINTER ZONE MANAGERS to help build our branch in Southborough MA. We are thinking about snow and ice management right now! We love the snow and love the challenge of a good winter storm. Do you have snow plowing experience and have experience leading others? We are seeking qualified people and or companies to help manage teams of snowfighters during winter storms. The position entails quality checks, payroll verification, P&L management, Customer Satisfaction, and employee management. Key Responsibilities & Accountability: • Safety, Quality and Efficiency: You will be responsible for the safety of your crew, the quality of the work performed on our client properties, and for the efficiency of the team. Properties will be visited and documented weekly or post event. Coaching and educating your crews, issue identification/resolution, and efficiency should all be addressed during these visits. • Planning: A scheduling calendar will be provided and is your responsibility to complete work by targeted dates. Planning ahead for the season, the month, the week and the day is an essential part of the job. • Training/ Education: You are responsible for relevant content and participation in weekly safety meetings. To be successful you will train your team to perform their duties. You provide continuing education opportunities to develop the skills and further their careers. You are responsible for the crew obtaining proper licensing to perform their tasks legally. • Tracking: You are held accountable by use of a scorecard that is to be completed weekly. • Oversight: You are responsible to manage crews and exceed your customers' expectations. You are responsible for the appearance and organization of your crews. Equipment and storage areas will be kept clean and organized. Crews will follow your lead in uniform and be presentable and professional. Crews will keep equipment secure at all times and daily/weekly maintenance will be performed. • Recruitment: You are responsible for staffing your team. You will be required to assist in recruiting, conduct interviews, and on-boarding. This position is ideal for managers who work in seasonal jobs like roofing, painting, carpentry, asphalt services, marinas, and people who enjoy additional income through the winter months.
