Description
Job Brief: The CMS Construction Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely and costly completion of construction projects by overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle. This entails working with a variety of stakeholders to schedule and plan work, coordinate equipment and materials, operate within budget, and monitor overall progress/quality. The CMS Construction Project Manager's responsibilities revolve around ensuring the CMS projects move forward on-schedule and on-budget. This entails creating schedules, managing personnel, communicating with clients, and working with Project Superintendents to overcome challenges. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Long term production planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals -Coordinating production teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities -Inspiring and motivating employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives -Communicating with the board or other senior officials about shifting company priorities and projects -Identifying potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and revenue -Work hand-in-hand with the project team to create a mutual understanding of the project strategy based on the requirement of the job -Conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of all project or contract documents so as to be familiar with every detail and/or requirements -Work with safety units in a bid to plan and manage safety programs for each project and make sure that all aspects of safety are reached -Help Project Supers and engineers in the arrangement and analysis of projects and scheduling of reports on projects -Oversee projects as they are being carried out to make sure that the work is done according to outlined specifications, and that they also conform with project timetable -Convey project needs from the Project Supers to the CMS Senior Leadership Team -Assist in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of the company’s relationship with contractors in a bid to produce strategic partnership -Train and mentor employees in areas of project management and estimating. -Approval of all subcontracts -Prepare reports pertaining to job status to disseminate to SLT -Plans all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion. -Orders necessary supplies, tools, and equipment as needed. -Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans. -Manages a Superintendents and oversees their work. -Communicates with clients and delivers project progress reports. -Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan. -Writes and submits testing and inspection logs, quality assurance reports, and punch lists. -Uses scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: Paid Health Insurance Paid Time-off 401(k) Relocation Assistance Daily transportation from Bozeman to Big Sky if needed
