This year’s event we will be hearing from experts in Mental Health and Incarceration as well as a panel discussion from successful returning citizens. Reentry and recidivism reduction are multifaceted issues, and no single program can address all the needs at every stage of the process. In partnership with government entities, faith and community-based organizations, and other stakeholders, the Reentry Symposium gathering will jumpstart a new comprehensive approach to the reentry process. In pursuing this mission, we shall improve lives, reduce recidivism, and enhance public safety. Encouraged to attend are Pastors/Educators/Teachers, Community Members, Community Youth, Detention Workers, Formerly Incarcerated & Persons Affected, Law Enforcement, Probation/Parole Workers, and Prison Ministries Teams.
