Addressing climate change is not only a critical to our survival on this planet, but will also strengthen the economy and reduce costs for local businesses. Join Philipstown Fights Dirty and the Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce for a Sustainability Workshop on Tuesday July 12th from 9:30am to 11:00am at the Butterfield Library. PFD will share innovative tools for tracking your business emissions, provide information about funding and other resources available for reducing your carbon footprint, and introduce an exciting new pilot program wherein PFD and the Philipstown Climate Smart Community Task Force will work closely with local businesses to develop individualized decarbonization plans. By working together, we can help Philipstown reach its goal of carbon neutrality by 2040 while cutting costs, improving business practices, and building a resilient local economy.
