Join us as we tour industry-leading concrete producer Shelby Materials’ premier ready-mix plant in Westfield. We will learn how concrete is made, what projects they are working on, and any challenges they may face in today's market. This is a great opportunity to network and learn something new about the sturdiness of the structures we build every day. Founded in 1946 by the Haehl family, who still own and operate Shelby Materials today, they have grown to twelve locations throughout central Indiana. Shelby Materials is known for exemplary service to both customers and the community and are a market leader across the residential, commercial, and infrastructure markets. Join us to learn more about the art of concrete and the ever-growing industry. The event begins at 5:00 PM. Please park in the Shelby Materials' lot. We will meet at the office and walk over together. Please bring personal protective equipment for the tour (hard hat, closed-toed shoes, safety glasses, and vest).
