Sap House Meadery is honored to host Choro Louco Tickets are $50 and include a fixed menu dinner that is themed around their Brazillian Choro-style music. Tickets do not include alcoholic beverages. Doors open at 5:30PM Dinner is served at 6:00PM Show is 7:00 to 8:00PM with a meet and greet immediately following. Brazilian Choro has been around for over a hundred years, but in this country itʼs virtually unknown. David Grisman, Mike Marshall and a handful of others have helped introduce the music and the musicians to a larger audience, but itʼs still largely under the radar of most music listeners...Its beautiful melodies, complex harmonies, and syncopated rhythms combine elements of European folk and classical, ragtime, jazz, Latin, and African music creating a style that is uniquely Brazilian. Based in Portland, Maine, Choro Louco are driven by their love of the music.
