If there was ever a time in recent history when we needed our immune system to be at it's optimal functioning and to experience emotional balance and stability; this is the time! Join Mary Madsen-Heskin from River's Journey Wellness in Geneva, IL for Reiki Level I Training. Reiki is a simple, gentle but powerful healing technique. It assists in restoring, balancing, and reinvigorating our energy and so much more. During this class you will: Learn the history and philosophy of Usui ReikiReceive and review handouts; Reiki I manual Learn the first Reiki symbolLearn practical uses for Reiki and how to facilitate a Reiki session for themselves and others (friend, family member/ significant other, pet, plants)Receive a powerful attunementPractice using Reiki with Reiki Master and other participants, to increase understanding and confidence in hand placements and session flow. This is a beginner's class in Reiki, but all are welcome! If you are hoping to refresh your skill or learn from another Reiki Master. We will have a FREE follow up session via Zoom to answer any new questions, share your experiences, and continue celebrating your completion of Reiki I. Participants are welcome to bring and wear a mask to reduce the risk of spread of virus or infections. Hand sanitizer will be available, but I may not have extra masks. Feel free to bring your own water (or other non-caffeinated drinks) and snacks. Lunch is not included in the fee. We will break for lunch on our own or if the group prefers we can order lunch together. PLEASE NOTE: If any participant is experiencing any COVID-related symptoms they are asked to contact me prior to the event and reschedule.
