The Hope for Uvalde Vacation Bible School Mission Trip is a five-day mission trip that will take place on August 1-5, 2022, in Uvalde, Texas. The mission trip begins on Monday August 1 at 10:30 am with orientation and training at the SSGT. Willie de Leon Civic Center 300 E. Main St. Uvalde, Texas 78801.Volunteers will have the opportunity to minister to children in the community through the Vacation Bible School program called Heroes: Making a Big Difference in Small Ways. The VBS program will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each evening and volunteers are required to serve from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mission trip volunteers must be 18 years or older and have completed the Verified Volunteers screening and background check before registering.
