Join us as we explore the language of film and specifically focus on various camera shots, angles and orientation used to express narrative. Participants should be 16+ years of age and all experience levels are welcome. We ask that please preview the attached comedy short, Alternative Math, prior to the course. In our first hour, we will review the short and dissect the shots used. During our second hour, you can expect to get hands-on and recreate the different shots discussed. Shots: Single, over-the-shoulder, French over-the-shoulder, POV shot, close up, overhead... Angles : High, eye, hip, low, dutch... Orientation: Frontal, 3/4 shot, profile, over the back, etc...
